Our morning started yesterday at 4am in Crewe, VA and the day ended in Jacksonville, FL. When we got to Jacksonville, we went straight to the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens; which was amazing! They had collections of work that mimicked the best art museums in DC! We saw hieroglyphics from 2100 B.C.!!! They had amazing work from all over the world over the last 4000+ years. After we browsed all of the work inside the museum, we got to walk through the most beautiful gardens we've ever seen (even better than the Biltmore in Asheville, NC and Shelburne Farms in Vermont). It felt like we were strolling through an English garden in Europe.
After the museum, we went to visit our friend (Andrew's college roommate) Neal and some of his Jacksonville friends at his home. We made dinner together and then ventured out to a comedy club later that evening, watching two funny guys, one of which had been on the Jay Leno & David Letterman shows many times.
